METRO MEETING REGISTRATION/CHANGES

Yes, this is the way to register your Metro Intergroup meeting, or to make changes that you wish to see reflected on next month's Metro Intergroup Meeting List.

In order to be recognized as OA meetings, the World Service Organization of Overeaters Anonymous has always required that individual meetings register to be included on their worldwide directory. Your individual group's registration also serves toward the official count of meetings recognized as part of an intergroup.

Based upon the improved technology of World Service's website and the fact that they have the staff available to update meeting information on a daily basis, the simplest way to keep our Metro Intergroup Meeting List current is by making your meeting's changes here. Your group may make changes as often as it deems necessary.

Metro Intergroup's office administrator will receive the most current printout from World Service toward the end of each month and whatever information you have sent to World Service will be reflected as your group's current information on the Metro Intergroup meeting list. Generally, we send the Metro Intergroup Meeting List to be printed on the second Monday of each month, prior to the Metro Intergroup meeting.

To minimize confusion regarding information changes about your meeting, we suggest that your group designate one person to make these changes. Please be aware that World Service requires that every meeting have a contact person, as does Metro Intergroup.
