In OA we keep our recovery strong in many ways. One of those ways is service to others. Below are a few of the areas where your help could benefit the recovery of others and also strengthen your own.
Do you drive to meetings? Are you in Brooklyn?
We have a local OA’er who can’t get to meetings due to a physical impairment. She lives in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. She would very much appreciate anyone willing to pick her up and take her to meetings and/or bring her back. She is open to meetings anywhere – not just Brooklyn. If you have a car and are willing to do service, please reach out to the Twelfth Step Within Committee by sending them an email. They will put you in contact with our fellow in need.
